Overnight oats


Now I already enjoy oatmeal on its own, but I reallllly love this version, its all the more comforting. Chia seeds and oats mixed with almond milk. It may be simple, but it is Oh, so good. For a gluten free version, try with quinoa flakes instead of the oats. You get it all ready the night before, it takes under two minutes to make and you get a meal stacked with protein, fiber and iron. A MUST! To make your own almond milk, follow this link.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of vegetal milk
  • 1/2 cup of oats
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
  • 1 ripe & mashed banana
  • 3 tablespoons of chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup of chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients in a Mason jar and put the lid back on. Shake it up for a good 10 seconds and put in the fridge for the night. In the morning, serve with fresh fruits and nuts!
